At the beginning of each year when the Kalahari Desert is looking its best, we schedule this very special Safari. After the first rains the Kalahari blooms and herds of antelope and wildebeest congregate in the fossil river valleys and vegetated pans where the grass is the sweetest. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve, is one of Africa’s largest protected areas with huge open spaces and endless horizons, star gazing here is amazing. After spending time exploring the Desert we move to the Okavango Delta, this is an unique environment with herds of plains game, buffalo and elephant. Here we spend a day on a boat cruising it’s channels and lagoons.
